Hamazkayin WR’s Music Committee has a 35-year history. It has presented numerous and varied activities and programs to the public, including choral, solo, orchestral performances, jubilees, lectures, educational sessions, and more. Since the 1990s, it has also published several anthologies of musical works of prominent Armenian composers.
Project Highlight: Parsegh Ganatchian
In 2021, the Music Committee launched a website to present Armenian musicians, composers, and their works. The first composer presented is Parsegh Ganatchian (www.ganatchian.com). The aim is to preserve and spread the Armenian musical legacy on the global stage through such websites and publications.
We welcome contributions from individuals with research, publications, archives, literary or musical publications to aid in this project. Monetary donations to support this effort can be made to the Hamazkayin WR Music Committee.
